What is a Bull
.Terrier?

Reno

The standard of the Bull Terrier states, "The Bull Terrier must be strongly built, muscular, symmetrical and active, with a keen determined and intelligent expression, full of fire but of sweet disposition and amenable to discipline." Bull Terriers are an active and agile breed that is very hardy and often tenacious. They are incredibly devoted to their humans and undertake most tasks with a sense of humor. While their unusual looks and past media publicity have increased their popularity and appeal they are a unique breed that is not right for everyone.

Anyone interested in owning a Bull Terrier should know that they are not a breed to be taken lightly. They were originally bred as a fighting dog. Although it has been quite some time since they have been used for that purpose, prospective owners should do their research and talk with a reputable breeder. Do not buy from a pet store or a 'puppy miller' but rather take the time to find a dog of good breeding with a sound temperament
